Learn about the Advertising Industry from Professionals

On Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 6 p.m. in the John Deere Auditorium in the Curris Business Building (CBB 109), five advertising professionals from the Cedar Valley area will be participating in Meet the Pros – an event sponsored by AAF Cedar Valley at the University of Northern Iowa for students who are interested in a career in the advertising and marketing industry.

At Meet the Pros students can learn more about the local advertising and marketing industry from a variety of young professionals who are currently working at local agencies and businesses.

Our Panel of Pros:

Panelists will discuss their own journey from student to professional, give career advice, give helpful tips for steps a student can take while still in college to prepare for a career in advertising, and will also take questions from the audience.

Feel free to bring your business cards, resumes, design portfolios, or writing samples and network with our panel of professionals after the event – It might be a great way to get feedback from a potential employer!

Meet the Pros is of particular interest to students studying advertising, marketing, public relations, graphic design, interactive digital studies, communications design, graphic technology, professional writing, and digital media from the University of Northern Iowa, Wartburg College, and Hawkeye Community College.
