The Digital Learning Bundle

This bundle investigates the future of learning in a digital world. We are now witnessing a burgeoning–and controversial–push towards online education, a rise in instructional training video sites like Lynda.com and Salmon Khan’s Khan Academy, and innumerable ways to create interactive educational tools through digital media.

Perhaps you are interested in how to motivate learning through creative digital projects, social networks, QR codes, and hands on computer-based instruction. Or maybe you’re interested in new literacy practices and the way students learn differently in the digital age. Learning.ids helps you understand the new technology trends facing education, and gives you the tools and theories to fully address and take part in 21st century learning.

The Digital Learning bundle includes the following five courses:

INSTTECH 4131/5131: Exploring Issues and Trends in Instructional Technology
INSTTECH 4138/5138: Understanding Visual Literacy
INSTTECH 4139/5139: Planning and Producing Instructional Media
INSTTECH 4153/5153: Using Digital and Social Media in Education

The Digital Learning bundle is offered through the Instructional Technology program in the College of Education.
